Cat6A for 10Gbps AV-over-IP Installations

LBS6ASSTP-C6A is a Cat6A S/FTP cable rated for 10Gbps network runs, which makes it the practical backbone for AV-over-IP systems in hotels, conference rooms, KTV buildings, broadcast facilities and live-event venues. Where audio and video are transported over the same network — Dante, AVB, AES67, NDI or IP-based control — the cable must support full 10GBASE-T bandwidth and reject interference from the power and lighting circuits that share the same riser or cable tray.

The S/FTP construction pairs each twisted pair with its own foil screen (S/UTP-style per-pair shielding) and adds an overall tinned-copper braid, giving double shielding for the cable. This is the construction to choose when 10G runs sit close to dimmer packs, motors, high-voltage feeders or other network cables, and when the customer expects clean, predictable link performance on the first test.
