A lighting network, a balanced microphone line and a multichannel snake are specified differently: shield coverage and impedance drive the DMX run, conductor matching drives the balanced line, and channel separation drives the stage box run.
Lighting desks, dimmers and fixtures are daisy-chained on one control line, so shield coverage and conductor consistency decide whether the run stays error-free. The LBSDMX range uses flexible shielded 4N OFC conductors with a single high-density OFC spiral shield at 85%+ coverage, an EPVC matt jacket and a nominal 6.3 mm outer diameter, listed for DMX512 stage lighting and professional equipment. Braiding density runs from 64 / 2 × 0.25 up to 168 / 2 × 0.50. For long runs the -2 double-shielded version adds AL-foil plus tinned-copper spiral shielding in a 120 ohm construction for 100 m+ runs. Operating temperature -20 °C to 70 °C, jacket in black, brown or dark green.
A balanced line cancels the interference it picks up, which only works when both conductors are identical and the shield covers the pair. LBSMIC-1 is a 2-core shielded balanced microphone cable built on high-purity multi-stranded 4N OFC conductors with PE insulation, AL-foil plus high-density OFC spiral shielding and a flexible EPVC outer jacket, compatible with standard 3-pin XLR and TRS connectors. Where the project needs cable out of the box, LBSMIC-2 is a finished XLR male-to-female microphone patch cable, and ready-to-use XLR cable assemblies are available for OEM / ODM projects.
Drum risers and stage boxes need many channels inside one jacket while keeping the signals apart. The LBSDMX multichannel range provides individually jacketed and shielded channels for stage box and studio equipment connections, in 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44 and 48 channel configurations. Each channel uses a 22 AWG / 0.35 main conductor with a 3.1 mm inner jacket and an EPVC overall jacket; operating temperature -20 °C to 70 °C.
