This Cat6A UTP cable is the unshielded option in the LBS Cat6A family. It delivers the same 23AWG solid 4N OFC conductor and cross-filler spline construction as the shielded Cat6A versions, with a simpler jacket that is easier to terminate in patch panels and wall outlets. Cat6A UTP is a practical choice for horizontal cabling inside buildings where data and AV-over-IP runs are separated from power and lighting circuits, and where the customer wants the flexibility of a full 10G-capable backbone without the cost of shielded cable.

A: Yes. Cat6A is specified for 10GBASE-T up to 100 metres. The shielding choice affects noise immunity, not the 10G capability.
