This connector is designed as an NL4-compatible speaker twist lock connector — it mates with industry-standard four-pole speaker twist lock chassis connectors found on amplifiers, powered loudspeakers and stage boxes. The number in a twist lock format name counts pin sets, and one pin set is one speaker circuit: one positive contact and one negative contact. That is the whole decision.
