Câbles audio pour installateurs et intégrateurs de systèmes
When you quote an AV project, every meter of cable matters — for signal quality, for the budget, and for the callback rate. Which Cable for Which Installation Scenario?
Most installation enquiries start from a project type, not a model number. These four common scenarios each link to the cable range you order from and to the guide that explains the construction choice.
1. Meeting rooms and AV-over-IP systems
Networked audio and video run over structured cabling, so the network construction carries the system. Start from the Ethernet cable range — Cat5e and Cat6A in UTP (unshielded), FTP (foil shielded) and SFTP (double shielded) — the unshielded construction is the Cat6A UTP cable, listed for fixed engineering installation and LAN runs — then compare shielding choices in the Dante audio network cable guide and the AV-over-IP network cable guide.
2. Hospitality, retail and background music
Distributed audio and display roll-outs combine speaker runs with long video links. The hotel AV cable installation guide lists what a room-by-room installation needs, and main speaker runs are planned from the speaker cable range.
3. Long display runs in venues
Where a display sits far from the source, an active optical HDMI construction is used instead of a passive cable — see the active optical HDMI cable and the long-distance HDMI 4K guide.
4. Stage, venue and lighting-control wiring
Lighting control and stage signal runs use dedicated signal cable rather than microphone or speaker cable. Compare the constructions in the DMX cable vs microphone cable guide, choose 2-core or 4-core from the stage DMX cable guide, then order from the audio signal cable range.

How to Order for an Installation Project
- Send your project spec — cable types, lengths, quantities, terminations.
- Receive confirmation — model suggestions, packaging options and lead-time information for your volume.
- Approve sample — verify construction and printing on a physical sample before production.
- Production & shipping — factory-direct delivery from Guangzhou.
Lead times and MOQs are confirmed per order — the factory does not publish generic delivery promises.
FAQ
Do you supply small quantities or only bulk?
LBS supports both. Standard models are available in smaller quantities for project orders; volume pricing applies to bulk and repeat orders. Contact us with your quantities for a quote.
Can cables be made to custom lengths and with my brand printed?
Yes. Custom cut lengths, jacket printing (brand/model), connector pre-assembly and custom packaging are all available through OEM/ODM. See the OEM page for the process.
Which cable do I need for a 30 m speaker run in a venue?
For a typical 30 m speaker run at 8 Ω, 2.5–4.0 mm² (12 AWG) OFC speaker cable is commonly used. The Speaker Cable Selection Guide has the full length-vs-gauge table.
Do you help with cable specification for a project?
Yes. Send your project details (signal type, distances, environment) and LBS can recommend suitable models from the catalogue before you order.

Installer cable selection
For microphone and line-level runs, review the audio signal cable range and read DMX cable vs microphone cable so you specify the correct construction for stage and studio wiring.
