Multi-Core Jacketed Speaker Cable for Sound Reinforcement

The LBSRVS-8X4.0 is an 8-core, 4.0 mm² (12 AWG) jacketed speaker cable with OFC conductors, PVC conductor insulation and an overall PVC jacket (jacket O.D. 16.5 mm). Multi-core constructions like this let an installer run several loudspeaker circuits in one pull — for example eight individual feeds, or four pairs when each circuit needs two cores — which simplifies stage, studio and fixed-installation wiring compared with running separate two-core cables for every speaker.

Because all LBSRVS jacketed cables share the same OFC / PVC construction, a whole venue can be wired with one family: 2-core versions for single loudspeaker feeds, 4/6/8-core versions for grouped circuits, subwoofer feeds and zone wiring. Keeping the same jacket family also makes cable identification, termination and future maintenance easier.

Where the LBSRVS-8X4.0 Fits in a Project

When a single conductor size must serve every circuit, the 8-core version gives the most flexibility in one cable: the installer can pair cores as needed on site. LBSRVS-8X4.0 Buying FAQ

Can the 8-core cable be split into individual circuits on site?

Yes. The 8 cores are individually insulated inside the overall PVC jacket, so an installer can fan out and terminate each pair or single core as the project requires. Polarity marking should be confirmed before termination.

Is the LBSRVS family available in other core counts and sizes?

Yes. The LBSRVS jacketed range includes 2, 4, 6 and 8 core versions from 1.5 mm² up to 6.0 mm², all with OFC conductors and PVC insulation/jacket.

Can LBSRVS-8X4.0 be supplied with custom printing or cut lengths for a project?
